Each workshop—101, 102, and 103—offers completely new content, allowing you to jump in at any point and mix and match based on your schedule. Whether you start with Shibari 103, 102, or 101, you’ll learn fresh ties and techniques while reinforcing foundational skills through review. No prior experience is necessary, making these workshops perfect for beginners!

This is the ideal workshop for anyone traveling to Lancaster City who wants to make the most of their visit. Each workshop is designed as a stand-alone experience, so you can dive in, learn something new, and leave with a strong foundation in Shibari. With expert riggers and bunnies providing hands-on guidance, you’ll maximize your learning in a short time—perfect for a weekend visit!

  • Morning Session

    8:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Shibari 100 Part 1:
    Start your day with the basics of Shibari. In this session, you'll dive into the foundational techniques and principles of new ties, perfect for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.

    Lunch Break

    11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Explore Downtown Lancaster
    Take a break and enjoy lunch at one of Lancaster's many charming restaurants. Afterward, stroll through the downtown area to explore unique shops and take in the local scenery.

    Afternoon Session

    2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Shibari 100 Part 2:
    Continue your Shibari journey in the afternoon session, where you’ll build on the morning’s lessons. This part will focus on more advanced techniques and creating beautiful, intricate ties.

    Each 100 level workshop is formatted the same with a morning block and afternoon block of learning.

  • All students will require the following rope kit (available for purchase or rent at the studio)

    (2-3) 30ft or 40ft Rope.
    (1) 10ft or 15ft Rope
    (1) Safety Shears

    6mm hemp or jute rope is recommended, please avoid cotton or other softer fibers.

  • Students should dress in comfortable clothing appropriate for a classroom environment. Stretchy clothing such as Yoga, athleisure or gym attire are your best option. Jeans are not recommended.

    Bunnies (person being tied) should consider wearing shorts and a tank of some sort as rope does work best skin to rope.

  • We have everything you will need available at the studio, including water and tatami mats. Feel free to bring your own water bottles, but please no open containers on the studio floor.

    Should you desire some additional comfort, please feel free bringing a yoga mat, pillow, blanket or hoodie.

  • This is a partnered workshop, however we can usually accomodate new riggers by partnering them with a person for a workshop.

    All we ask is that you pay for their workshop ticket at the time of checkout, and then send us a text or email requesting a partner.
